Go over the words and key phrases
1. Have a dictation about the words
2. Let several students to write the key phrases on the blackboard , after checking if they are right or wrong, then go over the phrases to make some sentences：
Step 2 Show the learning aims(见目标栏)
Step 3 Lead-in
Talk about the questions and try to say：
1. What world records do you know about?
2. Do you think you can set a world record in you class? What is it?
Step 4 Learn about the new words
Ss try to spell and read the new words
2. Let the volunteers read the new words. Let the other students repeat after them for several times.
3. Teacher corrects the mistakes in class if necessary.
Step 5 Learn about the dialogue.
1. First read the dialogue in a small group and make sure the students understand the meaning of the text
