四、教学步骤
Step 1 Free Talk (about 5 min)
Ask : Can you tell us some interesting records ? What’s your favourite record ?Get some students to talk freely .
Show some interesting pictures and help the students talk .
【设计思路】:让学生谈论他们搜集到的有趣的记录,提高学生学习兴趣,同时可以检查学生上一课知识的运用情况,提高学生使用语言的能力。
Step 2 Presentation ( about 5 min )
Show some pictures and ask questions, get the students to answer the questions and understand the meanings. Then have a test.
【设计思路】:用图片新授单词,让学生可以对形象生动的画面产生深刻的印象,激发学习兴趣,调动多种感官参与学习活动,更好地理解单词意思以及在语境中的用法,并及时检测巩固。
Step 3 Leading in (about 2 min)
Ask : Have you ever set a record in your class or school ?
【设计思路】:由吉尼斯世界记录的话题引入班级/学校记录的话题,为本课学习做好铺垫。
【设计思路】:根据听力材料设计听力测试的题目,训练学生的听力。让学生在听的同时大致了解文章内容,并根据要求记录听到的信息。
Step 4 Reading(about 10 min)
Get the students to read the lesson and write down the answers to the questions. Then check the answers.
Make sure that they can understand.
Explain the important words and expressions.
【设计思路】:提高学生阅读能力,进一步了解课文内容。
Step 5 Talking ( about 10 min )
Say : Danny has made a list of records for his class. Now let’s make a list of records of our class.
Then show some questions about the class and get the students to answer. Ask them to think of more questions and answers.
At last, get the students to work in groups, make a list of records of the class and present in class.

Step 7 Writing : ( about 5 min )
Get the students to write down a short passage about their class records and their favourite records. Ask several students to read in class.
