Step 1.Lead-in

How do you feel as a member in our class? Why?

How do you feel about the sports meeting last year?

To keep healthy and be No.1 in the sports meeting this year, what should we do?

We should set up our own dream teams in our school.

And then show the title of this lesson---The Dream Team.( Write The Dream Team on the board.)

II. New words(About 5 minutes)

Ask the students to give the answers:

1) When we talk about the World Cup, we will think of a country---Brazil

2) When we talk about Lin Dan, we will think of a sport----badminton

3) When we talk about Guo Jingjing, we will think of a sport---diving

4) Compare Lin Dan and Guo Jingjing:

Both Lin Dan and Guo Jingjing won gold medals in the Olympics.

Both of them defeated many players.

They both had an influence on others.

And of course, either of them has a good coach.

And their teams are both dream teams in China.

Explain the new words in this lesson if necessary.
