Step3: New concept:
a: New words:
According to the pronunciation to read the words correctly.
Ask one group to show the meaning of the words.
Make sentences with the key words prepare and pride.
(设计意图:本课的新单词主要是以地名及人名为主,这类单词只要求学生会读、会认即可,只有两个需要学生去掌握理解的单词,prepare和pride,通过造句让学生明确他们的用法以及同义短语,这个环节为接下来的环节打通单词关,扫清障碍。)
b: Listening and reading :
Listen to the audio and tick the correct answers.( Require:Before listening ,Students should look though the pictures on the book , match students and pictures, then close the book and listen carefully.)
(设计意图:听力训练的内容虽然以课文为内容,但是习题的设置很简单,在听前让学生浏览图片,将图片与人物对应,并理解问题后,再去听,将听力的难度大大降低,也能达到听力训练的目的。)
Read aloud together and read quickly ,then complete Let’s Do It No 2
(设计意图:大声朗读后再速读理解课文,完成小短文,这篇小短文就是课文的浓缩,这个环节就很好的帮助学生理解了课文内容。)
3. Speaking A: Read again as loudly as possible, then try to retell the text according to the pictures .(Require:Work with the partners ,you can retell the text with the words on the text or your own words.)
(设计意图:通过对课文的简单复述,鼓励学生张口说,通过说去掌握所学的知识,达到双基训练中说的目标。)
4. Speaking B (Group Work): The summer vocation is coming, where will you want to travel? Introduce one country or city you like.( Require:You can work with 2-4 students for a group, and you can use 3-4 sentences to introduce. Give some learning tips on PPT.)
(设计意图:本环节是对上一环节升华,学生通过对课文的复述,学着自己介绍喜欢的国家或城市,进一步提升学习英语的兴趣。)
5. Homework: Writing: Please make the sentences you discuss in class into a short passage.( Require:Give some writing tips.)
(设计意图:有了本节课堂上的单词,听,说,读的训练,最后让学生将说的内容整理成一片小短文,达到相对学生综合能力的培养与训练。)
