四、教学过程：
1.Warm-up活动:通过听一首英语歌:“We only have one earth.”目的是活跃气氛，为引出今天的话题做准备。The earth is badly polluted. What should we do to save the earth.
2.Revision ①使用大脑风暴法(brainstorm)让学生想出一些和environment 有关的单词短语和句子，目的是激活学生头脑中和写作话题Protect our environment相关的东西，如想法、概念、形象等酝酿写作的思路，供拟稿阶段(drafting stage)选择有写的价值和意义的东西时参考。] air pollution， water pollution等等②根据下列所给提示介绍环境 (四人一小组活动)。 ⑴animals. ⑵weather ⑶climate（4）nature……
3.Pre-reading 通过提问，How can you protect our environment in your daily life?保护环境有很多方法，但是 我们作为学生该怎么做？ 过渡今天话题的材料，快速看完环保的图片，找出答案。
4.While-reading，阅读课中图片，People should throw away litter in the bin. Turn off the lights when you leave a room. stop riding in cars。stop using paper towels or napkins。
5.Post-reading 引导学生讨论: It’s our duty to protect our earth. Love our nature and protect the environment.
当大部分学生都持肯定观点时进一步思索，How to protect our earth? Can you write it down?
为下面事实写作埋下伏笔，提供铺垫。
6.While-Writing. 教会学生正确使用e-mail格式，同时提供关于环境保护的一些精彩句子，为学生写作提供素材。
7.Post-writing. 提供写作标准
Do you use the tense (时态)，spelling(拼写)，punctuation (标点)， capitalization( 大写字母)correctly?

8.Share the writing.
点评两篇学生习作，选自一位基础较好的同学和一位基础一般的同学的作文。教师根据上述提供的写作标准，详细点评两篇习作的篇章结构和句法功能。目的是使学生尽力领会教师对文章的点评，培养学生选词和用词的能力，指导学生多模仿好文章的优点。
Brainstorming在本堂写作一课中的应用实例。
1）、围绕话题:“protect our environment”进行Brainstorming。 教师使用web-spider在黑板的一侧写下学生能够想到的单词、词组和句子， 从污染到环保结合学生思维一下子开阔起来，下面是学生讨论后呈现出来的词和短语：?1.air/ water/ noise pollution 空气污染/ 水污染/ 噪音污染2）.?waste water 废水3.?be seriously polluted 严重被污染4.?cut down the trees 砍伐树木5.?pour dirty water/ air 排放脏水/脏的空气6.?throw away rubbish everywhere 到处乱扔垃圾7.?in order to 为了……8.?protect our environment 保护我们的环境9.?care about 关心10.?plastic bags 塑料袋11.?pay attention to 注意…12.?recycle paper and books 再利用纸张和书籍13.?reduce pollution and waste 减少污染和浪费14.?plant more trees and flowers 多种花草树木15.?turn off the lights / taps 关灯/关掉水龙头16.?save water 节约用水17.?protect drinking water 保护饮用水18.?pick up some rubbish 捡起垃圾。
在这个阶段，教师引导和鼓励学生积极参与讨论，并把每个学生的发言要点写在黑板上。
当学生完成careful reading之后，教师通过两个问题进行引导。 ①How to protect our earth? Can you write it down? ②What will you write in your e-mail? 让学生进行小组活动，互相启发，把双方的想法清晰化和条理化，并用英语口头表述出来。我把学生讨论的结果通过投影形式展现出来。一些精彩的句型：1. ?With the improvement of our living standard, more and more people can afford a car.随着我们的生活水平的提高，越来越多的人都买得起汽车。2. ?My suggestion is that we should ride bikes more often instead of driving cars.我的建议是我们应该更经常骑自行车而不是开车。3.?Throw wastes everywhere and pollute the environment.到处乱扔垃圾污染环境。4.?Now we are living in the world of pollution. 五、教学反思
一、整个课堂通过不同方法引导，对学生进行听、说、读、写各方面的训练。同时活动形式多样，如小组活动、个体活动，使不同层次的学生都尝试成功。
二、初中英语写作教学是薄弱的环节，在教学中必须从基础抓起，尤其是课堂上加强对学生英语同步教学听、说、读、写的训练。1.词汇听写、默写、单词拼写、连词成句、英汉互译、句子转换、句子改错、合并句子等。2.积累好词、好句、好段。平时鼓励学生背诵课文对话，好句。仿写课文和套用课文中的段落。这为今后写作打下扎实的基础。
