4、The spirit was so happy with the woodcutter’s honesty that she gave him the other two axes as presents.

教学过程

Step 1 lead in

Leading in 情景

T: Hello, boys and girls. Please look at the screen. These are two pictures about a story. Do you know this story? (The teacher shows two pictures on PPT).

Ss: Yes. It’s about ”The Woodcutter and the Axe”.

T: Ok. Today we’ll learn this fable. Now let’s begin our class.

设计意图:老师通过展示两幅与本课有关的图片,直接导入本课话题,为正文的学习做好铺垫。

Step 2. Presentation

The teacher shows the new words on PPT. Ask students to try to read these words. The students follow the teacher three times. Then give the students five minutes to remember the words. Let students spell and read them one by one.

设计意图:老师以PPT的形式呈现本课中出现的生词,很直观地展示给学生为下面的课文学习做好充分准备。

Step 3. Reading

一、Read the test aloud.

Let students read the text after the video. Monitor students’ pronunciation and comprehension.

设计意图:让学生大声朗读课文,跟着录音模仿,培养学生的语感。
