Language Points:

Prefer 动词，意为“更喜欢，宁愿，” 相当于like….better.

Eg:_Do you like apples？ Yes,but I prefer oranges.

常用结构：

1.prefer+(not) to do sth.宁愿（不）做某事，perfer后接动词不定式

Eg:I prefer to go swimming this afternoon我今天下午宁愿去游泳

2.prefer+n.(pron)/V-ing+to+n.(pron)/V-ing

Eg:I prefer the quiet countryside to the noisy cities我喜欢安静的乡村胜过喧闹的城市

二．at the beginning，意为“开始时，起初”，一般不与of短语连用

in the beginning of，意为“在……之初”
