Step 1. Divide the students into groups, and let each group choose their favourite topic by guessing the meaning of a saying.
Ask them to complete a research about the topic and make some reading notes in groups.

teachingThe second part , I ask some students to give a reading report. They didn’t behave as well as I thought, maybe I should give an example first.
After this class, the other teachers exchange their ideas with me. They think I need to think of some ways to cheer the students up. For example, I myself should be more active.
