一、教学目标

1.能掌握和运用misunderstanding, require, communication, hardly, solution, anger等单词和get along with, be satisfied with, in the open, come to a solution, move on等短语,以及归纳、掌握副词修饰动词、形容词、其他副词及句子的基本用法。

2.获取梳理本课中3名学生和1位老师对communication的观点看法。

3.能用本课所学的词汇及I think..., I guess...等句式表达沟通的重要性及与人相处的观点。

4.通过互动学习,懂得沟通的重要性,形成与家人、朋友等和睦相处的价值观。

二、学习者分析

本班学生大多数英语基础较好, 学习态度较认真,学习热情高。已经基本具备在文本中获取细节信息的能力,部分学生能用英语自信地表达观点,且在第七单元也学习了人际交往相关话题。本课主题“与他人相处”与学生生活密切相关,学生乐于探讨,但在本课话题communication的重要性方面的词汇方面较为匮乏,此外,部分学生理解和整合知识能力方面有所欠缺。

三、教学重难点分析及解决措施

教学重点是掌握和运用本课的单词和短语,并能运用他们表达“沟通的重要性”及“与他人相处”话题;通过阅读获取梳理本课中提到的观点。

难点是副词的用法及运用本课词汇自由表达自己对“沟通”及“与他人相处”的观点。

通过情境创设引导学生感知词汇,文本观点梳理理解词汇,快速问答检测词汇,学生用手机借助口语100智能平台进行跟读练习;以“communication”为主题的演讲任务组织小组活动,学生分享自己的观点中运用词汇。关于副词方面,组织男女生副词PK,让学生观察总结副词用法,突破本课语法难点。

四、教学过程

Step1 Lead-in & Speaking

The teacher creates a situation: One student asked the teacher for help on Wechat because of interpersonal problems.

Ask the students to give him some advice and record their advice. Then send their advice to the student who needs help.

Lead in the topic: Communication is the most important way to get along well with others.

Step 2 Listening.

Get the students to listen carefully and answer the following question.

What will Ms. Liu and her class talk about this week?

Step 2 Reading

1. Get the students to read the text and fill in the blanks.

2. Quick quiz.

Get the students to say out the following phrases as quickly as they can:

get along with..., be satisfied with..., in the open, come to a solution, move on, have a lot of fun, be likely to do, communicate with...

Step 3 Get the students to read the text aloud on Kouyu 100.

Get the students to take out their smart phones, and read the text on Kouyu 100.

The teacher check the students' marks on the computer and then get the students to enjoy their voice.

Step 4 Adverb game:

1. Get the students to find out the adverbs which end with -ly in the text.

2. Play a adverb game. First, tell the rules to the students.
