Step1. Lead-in (Listen to the music” Be What You Wanna Be”)
T: The name of the song we just heard is “Be What You Wanna Be”他的意思是:做你想要做的人
T: What do you want to be when you grow up?
S1: I want to be a basketball player.
S2: I want to be a doctor.
S3: I want to be a teacher.
S4: I want to be a worker.
T: Very good, you all have a nice dream! Now we'll learn about Danny and his friends' dreams, we'll learn Lesson 55 look into the future.
T: First, we'll learn some new words and phrase, please look at the blackboard.

Step2. New Words and Phrases
Teacher shows the new words and phrase (boss, manage, doubt, wealth, astronaut, as for.) on the white board. Make sure they can read these new words and phrase correctly, ask them to memorize these words in five minutes. Then ask several students to play a word game.

1. Listen to the tape carefully and complete the form.
Divide students into 6 groups, each group finish one part. Then ask one student from each group to check the answer.
