Step 1:Warming up&Revision
T:Hello,boys and girls.I’m very glad to meet you! Do you know any successful people?
Ss:Yes!
T:OK!Please answer my questions.What is success?How do you know if you have succeeded? Please tell me,OK?
Ss:Yes!(几个学生起立自由回答,教师把学生的答案写在黑板上)
设计意图:此环节通过师生互动导入本单元话题,渲染课堂气氛,激发学生的学习兴趣,消除学生一节课开始的紧张感,为接下来的讨论做准备。 二、展开过程,探究新知
Step 2:Pre-reading
1.Teach phrases and practice the sentence patterns
教师出示本课单词的图片,导入词汇、短语、句型的学习。在学习词组的过程中,通过师生对话操练What’s the meaning of life?/What is success?/Why are great people so successful?等句型。
T:Boys and girls,we each have a dream!We want to succeed in our life.Yes?
Ss:Yes!
T:First,let’s have a look at some cards and learn the new words,OK?

设计意图:此环节通过师生间的对话,引入词—短语—句型操练,学习过程从词到句,从句子到对话。通过教师领读,学生跟读学习单词,词组与句型。在不知不觉中初步感知句型教学遵循从浅到深,从易到难,层层递进的规律。尊重语言学习的规律,也符合学生的认知规律。
2.Have a competition game to practice the sentence pattern in pairs.
教师把全班分为8个小组进行争夺获胜组游戏,教师通过屏幕展示更多生动有趣的图片。要求学生做结对练习操练句型,不出现错误的小组可获一颗星,说的句子和词汇最多的组为获胜组!
设计意图:通过竞赛游戏的方式充分调动学生主动参与的意识,增添了学生语言学习的乐趣,使学生在操练中潜移默化地感知句型,运用本课的词汇和短语。从而达到调动学生的多种感官体验,突破本课教学重难点。
