本节课是一节以培养学生思维品质为主导的阅读课。思维品质是英语学科核心素养的一个重要方面;而阅读正是培养学生思维品质的重要途径。在本节课中,教师通过问题和活动的设计引导学生逐层分析,建构新概念;分析、推断信息的逻辑关系;理性表达自己的观点,从而培养学生用英语进行思维的能力。
开场老师以购买食品饮料引出夲课Healthy eating的主题。谈论所购食品和饮料是否健康引入文本,按照泛读获取文章标题,精读回顾细节的顺序依次处理文本。在学习文本的同时,挖掘文本信息的深层含义,由healthy eating 到eat healthily。通过mind map总结所学内容以及写作手法。最后以写一篇e-mail来巩固所学知识,加深印象,也为课后homework的落实做好铺垫。
