Ask the students to take out their own family photos to ask and answer the questions in pairs like:
Who’s that/ this?
What does he /she do?
First give an example with a good student.
Step2 learing
Do a dictation exercise about numbers 1-20 with the students
Then check in class
Ask the students to look at the numbers in exercise7 and say :
What numbers are mis sing? Then ask several students to say the missing numbers.
Then point out that we use “_”with numbers like twenty-one. Also point out the spelling of forty, fifty and eighty.
Then play the recording for the students to read after it.
Step3 listening
Play the dialogue for the first time . Say: Now listen to a dialogue and find out :
What’s Sara making?
Say: Next please list en to the dialogue again and write down the ages of Snra’s family members. First give an example, then check in class.
Step4
Lead the students to read the statements in exercise 9 ask them to tell the meanings of the sentences
Play the dialogue, ask the students to circle the correct answers, then check in pairs, then check in class and ask them to tell their reasons for each answer.
Step5
Ask them to l ook at listening material ,Play the dialogue and ask them to listen and repeat
Step6
Say: we’ve known Sara’s family. Do you want to know each other’s family members’ information: ages, jobs, likes, etc. Then ask them to work in pairs to talk like the example in exercise 10.
