熟练运用一般过去式的表达方式,能笔头描述自己或他人发生在过去的事情。
五、学情分析:
学生经过一年多的英语学习,对一般现在时和一般过去时可以做到比较灵活的运用;而本节内容讨论自己的假期也是学生比较熟悉的话题,容易引起学生兴趣,可操作性和应用性都比较强。
教学过程:
Step 1 Before-writing (10 mins)
Guessing Game
Let Ss look at the pictures on PPT, guess what they/he/she did last weekend.
Question time
Q1:Where did you go last weekend?
Q2: What did you do?
Q3: When did you do that?
Q4: Who did you do it with?
Q5: How was your weekend?
T makes a conversation with one student to give an example to the whole class, and then Ss practice the conversation with their partners.
Step2. While-writing (20 mins)
1. Fill in the blanks.
I had a busy weekend. On Saturday morning, I ____ my room. In the afternoon, I ___ my homework. It was a little difficult. On Saturday night, I stayed at home and __________ cook dinner. 2. Retelling
First, Ss follow the teacher to retell the passage together.
Then, Ss practice by themselves.
At last, T choose two Ss to retell the passage to the whole class.
