1 Warm-up
T: boys and girls, do you like animals?
Ss: yes.
T: I like animals, too. What animals to you know?
Ss: dog, rabbit, bird, cat, deer, bear …
T: Well, I like animals, too. Today, I will show you some new animal friends.

2 Lessons begin

设计意图:练习 It’s a/an…, there are two -s 句型, 练习单复数。
2)Game Time
每组选出两名代表上台,戴上相应动物头像的帽子,一人先开始,说“XX蹲,XX蹲,XX蹲完,XX蹲”被叫到的人继续说,若未说出则被淘汰。
设计意图:在做游戏的过程中,加强单词记忆。
3)Pair Works
?Do you like…
?Yes, I do. /No, I don’t.
?Why do/don’t you like…?
?Because they are…
设计意图:通过练习句型,让学生成功掌握描述喜欢动物的原因;
4)T: Do you like penguins?
Ss: Yes.
T: Why?
Ss: Because they are very cute.
T: Why do you think penguins are cute?
Maybe they have round bodies, short legs, so when they walk, they shake and shake. It looks very cute, Right?
Ss: Yes.
T: Each animal has his own feature(特征),please describe(描述) an animal with unusual(与众不同的,不普通的)parts of the body.
