B:I’m in a team to look after the old people at people’s home.

教学步骤

Step 1

Lead –in

T: Do you know there will be a big event this month in the world?

(Show a picture of the 2018 world cup).

S: World cup.

T: Yes, the 2018 world cup will be held in Russia this month. Do you know which country won the last world cup?

(Watch a video and ask students to answer the question)

S: German

T: German foot team is a good team, it has its own team. Teamwork means some people in a group, they can get on well with each other, and they can work well together.

(Read the words and ask the students to repeat).

Step 2

T: Foot ball is a team activity, if you want to won the game, teamwork is important for it. Do you think teamwork is important for these activities.

(Read the items and explain something new)

Eg: Teamwork is very important for playing football, but it's not so important for playing chess.

(Ask students to say their own ideas about the importance of teamwork).

Ask students to look at the screen, read the passage about some class project rules, and say which class think each project is for.

Ask students to read the passage again, and underline the project rules.

Write the modal verbs on the blackboard.

Ask students to make a sentence with modal verb about school rules.

Pair work. Jerry is a new student in class 6 of our school. Please tell him the rules of the school with the modal verbs. You can use the phrases in the box to help you or your own ideas.
