三、Teaching procedures:

Step 1: Greeting and leading-in

1) A free talk.

(设计目的:为了让学生在本节课能大胆开口,去激活所学过的词汇句子,在上课开始明确分组合作,激励他们能在整节课中output所学过的内容。)

2) Enjoy the vidio.

(设计目的:从这个视频中的说英语的人物能够让大家激活学习英语的困难的表达。)

Step 2: Presentation

1)Ask and answer :(After watching the vidio.)

T: Are they good at English?

(设计目的:这个问题的设置是想让学生为下面说出学习英语困难而铺垫。)

2)Show some difficulties.

The old lady can’t get the pronunciation right.

The driver can’t understand the dialogs

Huo Jianhua can’t remember the new words.

Li Ming is afraid of speaking English in public.

...

(设计目的:从视频中典型的两个人物:the old lady 和the driver着手,让学生能说出学习英语的困难,并能够说出两位两个人物的学习英语的困难,层层突破,为下面的小组活动说出自己的学习困难而铺垫。)

3)Group work.

T: We have know the old lady’s difficulties in learning English and do you have any difficulties in learning English? Please disccuse with your group. And 1 minute to sum up your group’s difficulties.

(设计目的:让学生尽可能的去表达自己学习英语的困难,并学会与小组合作讨论。最终也给予时间去总结本组的学习英语的困难。从上一步的视频激活到最终学生的output。)

4)Show time

T: Please say out your group’s difficulties.

(设计目的:小组讨论完后,必须要全班总结。让学生对学习英语的困难又一个整体的归纳。)
