Step 1 Introduction
Students report something about eating habits and how to eat healthily in China.
Ask some students to give us a fashion show.
Students speak out the words about clothes they have learned.
The teacher shows different kinds of beautiful clothes one by one on the screen. Let students speak out the names of them quickly.
Step 2 Presentation
1.The teacher teaches the new words jeans, handbag, tie, sweater, scarf, jeans, blouse and sock by showing the pictures of them on the screen.
2.Students look at the pictures of 2 and choose the words from the box.
3.The teacher plays the recording for the students and asks students to answer the questions:
(1) Is Maria’s Chinese Tang Costume a cotton one or a silk one?
(2) Why does Jane want to buy some new clothes?
(3) When will they have the class fashion show?
Step 3 Consolidation
1. Students read the conversation after the recording sentence by sentence.
