Step 1 Warm-up
T:Dear class, before we begin today’s lesson, let’s warm up first, listen to a lively song. If you can, sing along with the song.

T: The main idea of this song is about asking and answering.
Step 2 Lead-in
Show some pictures of objects. Ask the students like this:
What’s this in English?
How do you spell ……?
Show an object that students don’t know how to say. Then tell the students that when they need some help, they can begin their words like this:
Can you help me, please?
......
T: Well, dear boys and girls, life is not always easy. What should you do when you meet trouble? Today we’ll learn several sentences about how to ask for help and give help.
Teacher writes the structures on the blackboard.
Step 3 Listen and read
Tell them they are going to listen. They need to find two things: Who wants help and who helps.
