StepⅠ Leading-in
Show some pictures to arouse Ss’ interest, and ask them some questions to elicit the topic of this lesson.

Q2: What colour is it?
StepⅡ Presentation
1. Show some pictures to learn new words and sentences:
Black, white, blue, green, yellow, red, brown, orange……
-----What colour is it ?
-----It’s……
Students should read the new words after teacher, then role-play the simple conversation just like “ what colour is it? It’s black, red, green……
2. Listen to the tape carefully, then read after the tape.
3.Play “萝卜蹲(Turnip Squat)”game. Ask some students to stand in front of the classroom, and one represents a new word. (According to this game, Ss can learn new words quickly, then it can arouse students’ interest)
StepⅢ Practicing
1. Students should look at the pictures in Activity 3, and give them 5mins to discuss with their deskmates. Then role-play the new conversatons.
e.g. -----What is this in English?
-----It is a pen.
-----What colour is the pen?
-----It’s blue.
……
2. Listen again and say.
3. Work in pairs. Ask and answer.
Look at the pictures ,then make a new conversation.
