1.Review the words of family.
(1) know about “Timmy” and his family members and jobs with “this is/these are Timmy’s…” and “He/She is a/an”.
(2)Know about Timmy’s cousin Alan’s family with “that is/those are…”and “He/She is a/an”.
2.Summarise the words of the memebers and jobs in the big family with the family tree and word map.
3.Review the words of jobs and work places inTimmy’s family with family tree.
(1)Have Ss think about other jobs and workplaces they know and show some of with mind map.
4.Have Ss finish the “self-assessment checklist1” and write their scores on the sheet.
Step3. Grammar revision
1.Show the differences of “this, that, these, those” with pictures.
2.Summarise the usage of the pronouns.
3.Finish the exercises with “this,that, these, those”.
4.Check the answers individually.
5.Summarise the affirmative and negative structures of the pronouns.
