Teaching preview(预习要求):
Learn the new words by themselves according to the pronunciation. 根据音标自学本课新单词。

Tape recorder, pictures and computer
Teaching procedures(教学过程):
Step 1 Lead- in/ warming-up
Talk about our classroom and learn some new words.
Ask students to look around, and ask ‘What’s in our classroom?’ Is/Are there…? There is/are….
Point at different objects around the classroom and try to use the sentences with ‘There is/are’….
Organize the students to read the new words together.
Step 2 Look and say &Learn and think
1. Numbers---from one to twenty.
2. Numbers---from 20 to 90
3. New words--- computer, picture, television, wall, thirty, forty …
4. Brainstorm
5.Ask the Ss to read the numbers in the box in Activity2 and match the words with numbers in Activity6.
Step 3 Learn the sentence structures
Make sentences:用There be (is/are)句型
Is/Are there ……?
Yes, there is/are. No, there isn’t/aren’t.
3. Teach Ss how to use: some / any
Step 4 Listen and read (Activity 3)
First, tell Ss to guess: What’s in Linda’s/Daming’s classroom?
Tell Ss to they are going to listen to the tape twice and read about Linda and Daming’s classrooms. And then complete the two tasks.
