六、教学过程：
1、warming---up
(1)、幻灯片显示动物图片，复习、学习动物名称(bear，elephant,giraffe,lion,monkey,panda,tiger,zebra,)
(2)、幻灯片显示谚语、俚语，让学生猜猜意思。
Love me ,love my dog.
Rain cats and dogs
.Kill two birds with one stone.
When the cat is away ,the mice will play.
2、pre-----reading
（1）、出示世界地图，让学生指出几大洲的位置，带读单词(Africa, America,Asia,Europe)
（2）、将写有几大洲名称的单词卡片发给学生，让学生上台将其贴在地图上相应位置。
（3）、Work in groups : 仿照2的例句，每人轮流说一个句子，指定专人负责倾听纠正。
3、while----reading
（1）、 scranning:let the students read the passage quickly ,finish the table in Activity3,then check the answers.
（2）、 read the passage again and choose the best answers.
(3 )、 read the passage again and complete the sentences(Activity5)
（4）、 play the tape ,let sslisten and underline the words and phrases they don’t understand
（5）、language poits:

4、After-----reading：
（1）、work in groups: make up a short passage named my favourite animal and read it in the class.then write it down
（2）、let Ss watch a vedio about the animals in danger .
