Lead them to review how to do homework on a computer.

Answer the two questions to prepare for reading and understanding.

读前的两个问题是对上一单元电脑操作的简单复习,也为接下来的阅读开展提供了热身。Step 3 While-reading

1. Fast-reading

通过文章内三个问题与人物的匹配,引导学生从整体把握全文。

Q1. Who can use the computer on Sunday?

Q2. Who shares a computer with his father?

Q3. Who has a friend in Australia?

2. Careful-reading

(1) Have them read Para1 and complete the tasks to get detail information.

(2) Have them read about Alice and learn from her.(use computer for study)

(3) Have them think about their own problems after reading about Mike.

3. Show the video about the passages and call back the phrases.

Look through the passages and get a general idea of the passages with the help of reading strategy.

Get to know what Jack’s does on the computer to learn the key phrases and get further understanding of it.

Check information about Alice and know more about the key phrases.

Read and get further understanding of the passage

Watch the video carefully and pay attention to the pronunciation, get to know the passages again better.
