Step 1 Pre-listening
1 Free talk
Work in group ,and talk about the following question:
What would you like to do at the weekend ？
What are you going to do at this weekend ? Can you make a list ?
2 .Listen and match the words and expressions from Box A with the words and expressions from Box B. Read the expressions for twice (Activity 1).Then match the expressions in Activity 1 with the pictures in Activity 2.
3 My plans for weekend
This weekend is coming.I’m going to have a picnic with my family. So what about you ? What are you going to do at the weekend?
Step 2 While-listening
1 Before listening ,look at the following questions.
What are they talking about?
2 Listen to the tape and try to find the answers to the questions .Then work in pairs and find out the sentences to support your answers. Listen to the tape again .
3 Read and fill in the bank.
4 Then work in pairs and try to find out what everybody is going to do ,try to follow the example:
What is Daming going to do at the weekend?
Daming is going to check his email and do his homework on Saturday morning.
5.Invite your lazy partner to join you. Make up a new dialogue in pairs.

1 Try to finish Activity 4. Complete the conversation with the correct form of the words from the box .
2 Look at the pictures , ask and answer questions about your plans at the weekend .Complete the diary with notes . (Activity 6)
