本课课型是听说课。
II. Analysis of Students 学情分析
Students are in Class 6, Grade 7, and they know some words about their past life. They can talk something about their life now, but they don't know how to describe their past life by using the simple past tense. In this Unit, they’ll learn the use of was/were in the Past Tense.It may be a little difficult for them to use it in their dialogues.
我们班的学生是七年级的学生,他们有关于过去生活的词汇,但是大部分学生需要更多的锻炼才能较好地掌握如何用一般过去时描述他们过去的生活。这个单元同学们需要学会在会话中正确使用was,were。

1.Key words and expressions,such as: born, strict, friendly, primary, town, village, nice, good, difficult, primary school
2.Key sentences: Where were you born? I was born in a small village. What were you like? Were you difficult in class too?
3.Learn the use of was/were in the Past Tense
4.Students can talk about their past life with the correct form of “be”
1、能正确运用本单元的词汇及短语:born, strict, friendly, primary, town, village, nice, good, difficult, primary school
2、能听懂包含“be”的过去式的对话。
3、能掌握动词“be(was/were)的一般过去时的肯定句、否定句、疑问句及其回答。
4、能向同学们用be动词的过去式来表述个人过去的生活,并能询问别人的过去的经历.等。
