Step 1:Warming up
(一) T lets Ss show their point cards. Do better and get more points.
(二) Emotional training every day is a gift.
(三) Enjoy a poem by Longfellow and act it out in Ss’ ways.
(目的:一是培养学生的合作竞争意识,同时激发学生热爱生活的情感。二是让学生在表演中放松自我,不自觉地进步本节课的学习。)
Step 2:Lead in
From the poem to the past simple be. T shows the title of this lesson: the past simple be.
(目的:从诗歌的表演中自然引出本节课的学习内容:BE动词的一般过去时。)
Step 3:Presentation
(一)Learning affirmative sentence of the past simple be.
1. Ss watch English teacher’s past life and find out the structure of was and were affirmative sentence.
2. T summaries he structure of was and were affirmative sentence.
3. Ss show their favorite affirmative sentences.
(目的:从学生熟悉的英语老师出发,展示英语老师过去的生活,学生容易接受而且增强了学习的兴趣。)
(二)Learning negative sentence of the past simple be.
1. T shows some negative sentences about be present simple tense .
2. Lead Ss to find out the structure of was and were negative sentence.
3. Ss finish the exercise of negative sentence.
(目的:从BE动词一般现在时的否定句自然过渡到BE动词一般过去时的否定句,降低了学习的难度。)
(三)Learning general questions of the past simple be.
1. Listen to Wechat’s dialogue between Miss li and her student and find out the structure of was and were general questions.
