Teaching Procedures:
Step 1 Warm-up
T: Do you like stories? What’s your favorite story?
S: Yes, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and so on.
T: Good stories. Do you remember the story we learned in Unit 1?
Ss: Goldilocks and the three bears.
T: Here are their pictures.
Show pictures of Goldilocks and the three bears, and review the characters in the story.
T: What did we learn about the story? Now let’s review the story.
Show eight pictures and ask students to say the key words to review the plot of story.
Step 2 Guessing Game
Work in pairs and say what would happen in Goldilocks and the three bears.
T: What would happen to Goldilocks next? Would she be safe? What did Goldilocks do?
S: Goldilocks watched TV./She was eaten by a bear./Maybe somebody walked into the house.
T: What is the real ending of the story? Do you want to know?
S: Yes.
T: Read the story, and number the pictures with correct order.
Step 3 Fast Reading
1. Read the story quickly and number the pictures in correct orders.
T: If you want to know the real ending of the story, read the story by yourself. After reading, number the pictures in correct order.
T: The correct order should be 24513. So what happened in each picture?
