教学准备:
本节课型为Revision and application,根据新课标的要求,结合教材和学生特点,主要采用任务型互动式进行教学,结合情景法、交际法、听说法、归纳法等教学方法实施课堂活动,开启学生思维,通过一系列有条理的教学活动,引导学生自主探究学习和与他人互动合作学习,让学生体验愉快学习。本节课所需教具及资料:幻灯、图片等。
教学过程:
1. Leading-in(Review and consolidate the new words , some phrases and the irregular past simple.)
T:
1) To give some time to the students to go over all the new words of this module.
2) Play a game.
Give the instructions of the game.
3)Help the students have a dictation of this unit.
S:
1) Revise all the new words and phrases of this module.
Then, play a competition,
2) One student stands up and say a verb, the other volunteer stands up as quickly as they can, and say out the irregular past simple.
3)Have a dictation.
While-task(Review and consolidate the irregular past simple just learned in the first two units.)
T:
Now let’s learn the Past simple irregular verbs and get to do more exercise of it.
After the short retelling, have students complete the passage of Activity2 , 3&4.Ask the students to sum up the irregular verb forms of past tense.
S:
1) Finish Activity1 on Page 58. After they finish the sentences, ask someone to talk about Betty’s life briefly like this:
Betty _________ in Quincy. And she _______ to John Adams Primary School and she ________ there because she _________ a lot of friends there. In 2008, she ________ to China.
Complete the passage of Activity2,3&4.
To sum up the irregular verb forms of past tense.
3.Post-task (To practice the skill of speaking, and then try to write. Enable students to use the irregular past tense verb forms to tell story.)
T:
