语言技能目标:

读:能读懂简单的人物传记,按照时间顺序获取人物的经历,并了解人物传记的题材写作特点和篇章结构。

写:能用一般过去时按时间顺序描述父母或爷爷奶奶的过去经历

学习策略:注意通过音像资料丰富自己的学习

文化意识:了解旅顺英雄金伯阳和中国著名运动员邓亚萍的生平并向他们学习热爱祖国,努力拼搏。

情感态度:敢于尝试用英语向他人介绍自己父母或祖父母的生活经历,同时感受到时代的变迁;了解中外名人成功的原因,激励学生热爱学习,努力奋斗。

三、教学过程:

活动1、导入与检测

1.We learnt several great people’s life history in this module. Here’s another great man from our hometown, Lvshun. Who is it? You listened to a talk about him last week. Do you still remember anything about him? Now, let’s have a test. Complete the sentences about him and learn more about him.

设计意图:通过上周学校的真实讲座—传承红色基因,争做时代新人,导入本课,回忆旅顺英雄人物金伯阳的生平,并运用动词的过去式完成关于金伯阳生平的句子,在真实的情境中运用本模块重要语法—不规则动词的过去式,同时了解英雄人物的人生经和革命历史。

2.What did you learn from Jin Boyang? What do you think of Jin Boyang?

设计意图:通过对金伯阳的评价,培养爱国情怀。

活动2、练习与总结

1.Here is another famous person in our country. Who is it? What did she do? What else do you know about her?

设计意图:激发学生对邓亚萍人生经历的阅读兴趣。

2.Complete the passage about Deng Yaping’s life with the correct form of the words from the box. Then check the answers.

Work in groups. Try to introduce her life history with the time line and the important information.

设计意图:巩固所学知识,在有关人生经历的语段中运用动词过去式。根据所给时间轴和重要信息介绍邓亚萍的生活经历,并运用所学练习输出。

3.Sum up the main idea. We can get the important information with the help of the time line.

设计意图:总结介绍生活经历的方法:按照时间顺序和运用一般过去时。

4. When we introduce a person’s life history, what can we add besides the life experiences? Think about The life of William Shakespeare. How can we introduce a person’s life history?

设计意图:总结在人生经历中还需要加入开头的简介和结尾的评价两个部分。进一步领会介绍人生经历的篇章结构。

5.There will be a cultural and sports festival in our school next week. We need to make some posters of famous writers and players. Deng Yaping is one of your choices.So for preparing the festival, discuss in groups and write a brief introduction and a comment for her. Then share her life history in class.

设计意图:练习为邓亚萍写出简介和评价, 并练习输出完整的人生经历。

6.Why did Deng Yaping succeed? I hope you will work hard to be successful.

活动3、写作与实践

1.We have learnt a lot about the life history of the great people. The common people around us also had lots of wonderful life history. Would you like to know about it? Here’s a video of my life history. Would you like to know more ? What would you like to know?

设计意图:分享老师的人生经历,激发学生对老师人生经历的兴趣,运用词汇、短语提问更多有关人生经历的信息,为写作做范例。
