By the end of the class, students should
1. Be able to talk about and understand problems in learning English
2.Be able to give advice on English learning using the target language, such as “Why not/ Why don’t you?/ Don’ forget to/ It’s a good idea to do/ What about/ How about”
3.Be able to know and use the new words.
4. Be able to guess the meaning of a new word in the passage through context.

Step1 Greet the class as usual
Step2 Pre-reading
The teacher show a e-mail from her student and let students find what his problem is.
Then discuss how to help him. It’s a free talk
The teacher give her advice and guide students to recall the structures of giving advice, which they have learnt last class.
Try to practice writing as much as possible.
Don’t be afraid to make mistakes.
Don’t forget to write down the correct answers next to the mistakes.
It’s a good idea to find some English pen friends.
