Read a letter from my friend-Tina about asking for good ways to learn English, and talk about more ways to learn English well.
设计意图:通过创设与学生现实生活紧密相关的情景,引出本课的话题,并在阅读前对U1提建议的关键句型进行复习和练习,为后边的阅读理解做准备。
III. Pre-reading
Ask some questions to encourage students to talk about their own problems with brainstorm. Like, do you have any problems in learning English?What problems do you usually have? Meanwhile, consolidate the new vocabulary.
设计意图:教师通过问题引领激发学生的兴趣,运用头脑风暴的方式,引入新单词的学习,形成词汇风暴,深度感知词汇,解决读前词汇障碍,为下一环节做好准备。
IV.While-reading:
Fast reading:
Read the passage quickly and quietly to find out:
What’s the main idea of the passage?
Give students some tips about how to find the top sentence.
. Divide the passage into two parts and summarize the main idea of each part.
And then, show the main structure of the passage to help students have a better understanding of the whole passage.
设计意图:通过快速默读课文获取文章主要信息,掌握通过寻找主题句来概括文章主要内容,同时掌握文章的主体框架,节约阅读时间。
Careful reading:
Read each part carefully and answer questions.
Read part 1 and think about “Is it usual or unusual for us to have problems in learning English? ”, encourage students to talk about their own problems bravely, realize to ask for help/advice when meeting problems.
Read part 2------problems and advice and answer questions:
What are students’ problems?
What’s Diana’s advice?
And read the three problems carefully and summarize how the students talk about their problems(what aspect + examples)
Then, read the advice to each problem carefully and summarize how Diana gives advice to us. (good ways + how to do it)
设计意图:通过细读的方式,再一次对文章进行理解,完成文章结构图中问题和建议部分,进一步理解文章脉络,并提醒学生用寻找含有关键词的短语代替句子,为复述短文做好准备。
