1.use comparative adjectives (cleaner, easier, greener, taller, bigger, wider…) to compare the changes of different places and be able to distinguish the different forms of different comparative adjectives.

2.use the key structure “in the ... (east,south,north,west) of ”, “be famous for”, “…has a population of...”to talk about their hometown and use key words to describe geographical features of hometown.

3.talk about hometown or others places in China with different aspects.(food, famous, activities, weather, changes…)

4.develop the love for hometown and country by describing geographical features, comparing the changes and then sharing their feelings.Teaching focuses:

1.The using of comparative adjectives to compare the changes of their hometown and country.

2.The describing of different aspects (geographical features, famous for, food etc) of their hometown.Anticipated difficulties:
