入1.Warm up.
Show the two pictures in the textbook.引导学生描述他们看到的图片,引进话题。

解1.Work in pairs. Talk about the pictures. Tell the students to look at the two pictures and think about what they both show。
2.While-reading
(1)Tell the students to look at the title of the passage by Darning and ask them what they think the passage is about. Ask them to guess what sport he is training for. Then read the passage
(2)Tell the students to look at the table after the passage. Then read the passage again。
(3) Complete the passage with the words in the box.
Ask the students to read the passage carefully then finish Activity3.
