受生源的影响，我校学生的英语基础是相当薄弱的，因此在教学过程中，我们对教学内容的设计都是根据学生的实际情况，对学生的掌握程度，我们都会根据实际，相应地降低要求，让学生先掌握基础，再循序渐进。而在课堂的设计上，通过分组讨论的模式，给予学生任务，让学生通过小组成员的力量把任务完成，这一过程，目的是让学生在有任务的前提下，自主完成，小组讨论模式，可以激发学生的积极性，培养学生自学的能力。在情感方面，学生能够积极参与到课堂活动中来，敢于表达自己的想法和观点，在小组活动中积极配合共同完成学习任务。
