Step 2 Pre-writing
Let’s enjoy a passage about Beijing together and find out the writing structure.
Watch a video---- “Welcome to my hometown”,and then answer this question:
What food and sights can you find in the video?
Talk about Maoming and need more people to support Maoming.
(教学目的:使用mindmap让学生想出一些和hometown有关的单词短语或句子,目的是激活学生头脑中和写作话题hometown相关的东西,为下面的写作逐步做好铺垫。)
Step3 While-Writing
Suppose you are the mayor(市长) of Maoming. You will give a speech to introduce
Maoming. Let’s write a passage for the speech.
(教学目的:通过“魅力中国城评选活动”引入今天的写作话题。)
Group work: Draw a mindmap about Maoming and discuss your mindmap in
groups.
(教学目的:口头操练并且熟悉运用句型,为下面的写作准备。)
Let’s start writing according the mindmap, and then ask each group leader use IP
to take a photo and send it to the screen.
