1.Explain the grammar to the students: Past continuous with adverbial clauses (when, while)。
2. Let the students do Activity 1, then check the answers.
3. Ask the students to work in pairs. Talk about what Tony and the students did last Saturday. ( Activity 2)
For example:
- Last Saturday while Tony was playing in the park, I was visiting my grandparents.
4. Let the students show their sentences.1. Listen to the teacher to explain the grammar: Past continuous with adverbial clauses (when, while)。
2. Do Activity 1:Complete the sentences with when or while.
