Step1 Warming-up

T:Hell o, boys and girls,my birthday is coming, I want a dress. If tomorrow is your birthday, what do you want as a gift?

S1:I want a new coat.

S2:I want a new schoolbag.

设计意图:以师生对话的方式直接引出“生日礼物”的话题,为本课时的学习作铺垫。

T: From the title, you can know we will talk about a gift. Because Lingling’s birthday is coming, some of her friends are talking about what gift to buy for her. First, let’s see what they are.

Stick the pictures and words on the blackboard.

【设计意图】:通过题目找到切入点,引入本课有关礼物的一些词汇,目的是创设相关的教学氛围,引导学生在短时间内投入课堂教学活动,迅速进入思维活动状态。让学生感知一个真实的语言环境当中,吸引学生的兴趣,活跃课堂的气氛,完成学生从已知到未知的过渡。

Step 2 Presentation

T: OK, You have known what presents they are. Now, let’s listen to the tape. You have two tasks: first, number the words and expressions as you hear them ,and then find out what present they want to buy for Lingling.

【设计意图】:通过小对话的听力练习,一方面来强化这部分词汇,另一方面为引出后面的主对话做好铺垫,使得本课的教学内容围绕着一个主线进行。

Step 3 Read

Watch the video. Then ask the students to read the dialogue by themselves first. Then work in group. Finally the teacher will choose two groups to read the dialogue correctly, loudly and beautifully.

【设计意图】:本活动通过不同形式的朗读,加深对这个对话的深入理解,为后面的输出做准备。
