2.Show two questions:

1) Did she accept the gift with one hand or both hands?

2) Did she open it immediately? Why?

1. Enjoy the video and try to sing the song.

2. Students answer the questions and read the title.组织教学,放松心情,活跃课堂气氛,引入本课话题。

通过这个环节,可以训练学生的反应又在无形中培养学生大胆说英语的习惯。活跃了课堂气氛。

Pre-task

(5’)

Free talk:

What gift do you want to buy if you are invited to your friends’ birthday party?

Lecture the new words as well.

Students have the free talk.

Watch pictures and learn some new words

引导学生谈论图片,训练学生描述事情的能力。在描述的同时学习新单词和句型,做到词不离句,为学生扫清听的障碍。Step Three Listening time(18’)

1. Listen and match.

T: guess What present do they want to buy for Lingling?

2. Listen again and check the answer

3. T:listen an d and number the words as they hear them and then match them with the pictures.

4.Listen and understand the dialogue in Activity 3:

( have students answer the question and find out the difficult points.)
