Step2 Listening

Give ss about 3minutes to work in groups about how to accepting presents at birthday. Then ask 3 groups to show it in class.
Step4 : Lead in the Chinese traditions in Spring
1. Do a quiz about the traditions.
During the Spring Festival, ① You can / mustn’t break anything.
②You must / mustn’t only use red paper for hongbao.
③ You can / mustn’t do any cleaning on the 1st day of Spring Festival .
④You’d better / You’d better not have your hair cut during the Spring
Festival month.
Step5: Listening
Give them some phrases with pictures, and ask ss to listen to the second part of the conversation, check: Which pictures are mentioned(提到)?
Step6: Work in groups
Bean: Can you tell me more about the Chinese traditions of the Spring Festival?

3minutes later, I’ll ask 2groups to show their own dialogue.
Step7 : Reading
1. Read second part of the dialogue aloud and try to fill in the blanks.
2. Read the whole dialogue, and try to retell it according to the structure I give them.
