我在一所农村初中，由于各种原因，许多学生进入初中后学习英语倍感困难，我认为这堂课在教学设计上基本符合了新课改的理念，首先是对学生的预习进行一个检测，其次，设计时我考虑的是让学生由听说领先，过渡到读写，由控制性到半控制性最后到开放性训练，让学生各个方面的能力都得到了锻炼。在接下来的教学过程中很多学生就明显活跃了起来。
新课程改革不是纸上谈兵，必须与课堂教学实践结合，必须以学生实际情况为依托，每个人都应该不断学生，不断进取，不断反思。
