Activity 2: Do the game: ask three students to drink the water from different bottles.use the words:

Sad...happy...terrible...(5m)

Sour...sweet...salty...

Let them learn the feeling and describe their feelings.

Activity 3:Then ask if we want to know the person’s character and feelings.how to describe according to the students.(3m)

Eg: tall,short thin ,fat ,beautiful ,wear glasses. Jeans...etc

Friendly, bad, shy, naughty, outgoing...etc

Now see the pictures according to ppt ,guess who the person is.(pay attention to the key words)

Activity 4:show the new words to the students on ppt(5m)

Glasses jeans long nervous fair pretty proud short strange tall young...etc

Then let them describe the two girls on PPT. And then use these words to describe Sally and Lingling on your books. Find out who is Sally.

Activity 5:let the students read the email from Sally to Lingling and complete who is Sally and do activity 3.(3m)

What are your hobbies?----P3

How do you feel about coming to China?---P4

What do you look like?---P2

Activity 6:Then show them the form and finish it(12m)

Three steps to complete it

1:Read themselves and do what does Sally look like.

2 All the students read aloud ,then finish Sally's hobbies.

3 Read after the teacher ,then learn Sally's feelings when she does different things.

Activity 7: Listen to the tape and correct the sentences and do activity 5.(4m)

Activity 8: write a short passage to describe yourself or your partner.describe their character ,hobbies and feelings.ask student to read (5m)

Eg:I have short black hair and a round face. I am short and active. I like playing basketball and singing. I also like reading comics. I always like meeting new friends. I feel excited when I talk with them.

Homework: freely talk and write a passage about your friends or your families. You must introduce their character and feelings.(2m)
