七、教学环节设计意图:
情境导入,小小聚会,争取给学生创设最真实的语境,让学生对impression 和feeling 的词义有直观的认识,以实物和切身感受将学生置于一个真实的语言环境当中,吸引学生的兴趣。
八、教学过程
Step1.summarize the grammar
Review sense verbs what students have learnt. Then show some pictures to students. Lead the students to say what they like or don’t like in their daily life with the help of the example sentences . Say their opinions and tell us why. Students describe their feelings and impressions with sense verbs and adjectives.
For example: I like pizza. It tastes good.
I don’t like_________. It__________.
设计意图:通过教师展示图片和举例子,让学生谈论自己在日常生活中对不同事物的感受感知并体验感官动词的含义,为进一步归纳语法现象做准备。
Step2.Show a picture to students. Tell them today is Kate’s birthday. She has a birthday party. She invited them to her party. Then let’s them describe how things feel, look, smell, sound, or taste at the party.
For example: 1.The cookies _______________________.
2.The bananas______________________.
3.The students______________________.
4.The flowers_______________________.
5.The juice_________________________.
6.The chairs________________________.
7.The music________________________.
设计意图:为学生创设一个举办生日party的语境,让学生对impression 和 feeling 的词义有直观的认识,仿佛将学生置于一个真实的语言环境中,吸引学生的兴趣。
Step3.Ask students to put the words in the box into the correct columns. Then work in pairs. Use the table in activity 3 to ask and answer questions about people .
设计意图:掌握描述性形容词的用法,掌握What does he/she look like?和What is he/she like?能够对他人进行简单的描述和评价。
Step4.Ask students to complete the conversation and check the answers. (Activity5、6)
设计意图:通过活动五和活动六的反复练习,复习巩固前两个单元所掌握的语法和词汇。
Step5.Play a guessing game.(Activity8) Ask a student to describe a thing in the box, and the other students guess what it is.
设计意图:通过猜测游戏可以激起学生的学习兴趣,营造轻松又去的课堂氛围。
Step6.Play the tape for the students to listen and complete the notes ,then check the answers.(Activity9)
