Step1. Getting ready for learning

Watch a short video about a fashion show.

Step2.Pre-listening

Using some pictures to review some new words.

Ask some students to talk something more about cheongsam.

Look at the picture in 1b, and match the models with the phrases and know more about different kinds of clothes.

Step3.While-listening

Listen to 1a and then number the models in the picture of 1b and then check the answers together.

Look at the video of 1a ,read after it and then the whole class read together.

Ask two pair of students to act out 1a.

Finish 1c according to 1a and check the answers. Review some key points.

Try to retell 1a.

Step4.Post-listening

Look at pictures in 2. Ask and answer between the teacher and students about Picture 1.

Review object clauses. Write the key points on the blackboard while reviewing. Ask the students to pay special attention to the past tense.

Talk something about Picture 2 and Picture 3.

Make dialogs with partners and then write down on the notebook.

Ask two students to write their dialogs on the blackboard and then check the answers .

Read the dialogs together.
