Four: The objectives of teaching.

send, way, mix, count, count down, move, Germany, France, tower,

ancient, king, queen, Arabic

(2)The Ss can get and understand the information of travelling activities by reading.Even retell the text and try to use it.

(3)They can share others’or their own experience by using the present perfect tense.Learn to co-operative with parters.At the same time,you can realize that the Western people are good at travelling,they like relaxing life.

Step one: preparation

Show some pictures about the pyramids in Egypt,ask the Ss to get the information about it.

Step two: presentation

Task 1: A.Pre-reading,review the present perfect tense,esp,the drill: Have you ever been to...? Yes,I have. No, I haven’t.

B.while-reading:

Task 2 : (1)Skimming the text and answer the questions,drawing a mind-map to show them.

1. How many countries have the Robinsons been to?

2. Why can they go to Egypt?

(2)Get the details of the first and the second paragraphs.

1. How long have the Robinsons been in Egypt? (underline)

2. Which countries have they been to?

3.What do you think they have done in these counteies? (imagine)

Task 3: (3) read the next three paragraphs and fill in the blanks.(P13 exercise No. 3)

Step three: practice

According to the the mind-map to retell the text.Talk about how to describe the experience of someone.

Step four: production

Task 4: After--reading, share your experience with us using the correct tenses,then collect more new words and phrases.
