1.Show a picture of a doctor and ask:What is she?Next the teacher say:I often see the doctor,why?Then show the ppt about the topic

2.Teaching new words:

(1)After showing the title,the teacher say:so I’m often ill(sick). Teach ill(sick) or illness(sickness)

(2)Using pictures to teach the new words about illness:cough, fever, headache, stomach, ache, stomach ache, toothache, cold

Students answer:She is a doctor.

Students answer:Because I haven’t done much exercise since I got my computer.

2. Watch pictures ,read and learn some new words

通过这个环节,可以训练学生的反应又在无形中培养学生大胆说英语的习惯。活跃了课堂气氛。在自然谈话中引入话题。同时,进行单词教学。
