Step 2 Pre-reading
Describe the pictures from the four parts:
Who?
What is he/she doing?/ What are they doing?
Is it healthy or unhealthy?
If it is unhealthy, can you give some advice?
2. Play the video of the text, find the key sentence of each paragraph and match the people with the pictures. Then check the answer.
Step 3 Fast reading
Ask students to read the passage and finish the table. Then check the answer.
Step 4 Detailed reading
Play a game: There are 12 choices. Some are questions about the passage and students should answer the questions quickly. Some are ‘You are lucky’, students don’t need to answer questions but can still get some scores.

Choose one from the two pictures and write a short passage according to the four parts:
What was the problem?
What advice can you give?
What may happen?
How does he/she feel now?
Invite two students to read their passage aloud.
