Step 2 What have we learned according to the key sentences
Students open their book on page30,read the sentences in the green box ,then talk about What they have learned according to the key sentences.
Purpose :Get ready for the next step,students get t o know what they have learned in this unit.
Step3 have /has done ....for/since
Use a time line to show the that the Present Perfect to talk about an event starts in the past but continues till now or continue happening in the future.
Then look at the following pictures and talk about how long they have done something with “for/since”in the present perfect
1.I have studied English for 6 years./since 2013.
2.You have taught English for 16 years/since 16 years ago/since you became a teacher.
3.He has played badminton since 2017/two years ago.
4.Wei Shutong hasn’t danced for 2 years/since she went to Primary School.
5.They haven’t played for NBA since they hurt.
After that ,students experience and summary the differences between the simple past tense and the present perfect.
