三、教学活动?

Step 1. Warming up.

Teacher: Hi, boys and girls! I am Cindy. Nice to meet you! Do you like traveling? Where did you go for travelling last year? Today we will learn to talk about how to write about a trip. First, let’s enjoy a video. Please watch it carefully and try to find out the places of interest in it.

(教学目的:一是吸引学生的注意力,引起学生关于旅游景点的学习兴趣;二是帮助学生熟悉北京的著名景点,为学生在接下来的环节,懂得用英语谈论教师的北京之旅作好铺垫。)

Step2. Enjoy and talk about the teacher’s trip to Beijing.

Teacher: Do you want to know more about Beijing? I went there last summer holiday. Do you want to know about my trip? Let’s look at this.

Q1. Where did Cindy go? Q2. Who did Cindy go with?

Q3. How did Cindy go there? Q4. What did Cindy do?

Q5. How did Cindy feel about the trip?

(教学目的:通过谈论教师本人的北京之旅,引导学生正确使用一般过去时,为下面的写作逐步做好铺垫。)

Step3. Complete the teacher’s email to her friend, Anna. Just talk about it orally.

Teacher: I have an American friend, Anna. She is a fan of China. She has sent some messages to me on Wechat. Let’s see what she said.

Anna: Hi, Cindy! Cindy: Hi, Anna!

Anna: I hear that you have ever been to Beijing before. Can U send me an email and talk about your trip there?

Teacher: Well, you enjoyed my trip to Beijing just now. Can you complete my email to her?

Firstly, ask students to complete the teacher’s email orally;

Then , ask several students to present it and read the email together.

Finally, analyze the structure of the writing.( The passage can be divided into three parts: Beginning, Body and Ending. Meanwhile, guide the students to find out the good sentences in it.)
