3. Retell the contents of unit2 by filling in a diagram.

Step 2 Free talk and show time

1. Check the homework of making videos about hobbies.

2. Play some videos for the whole class and produce some questions for the rest of the class to answer.

3.Lead in the revision of the sentence components.

4. Choose some sentences from the students' videos and ask them to tell which sentence patterns they are.1.Watch the videos carefully and answer questions according to them.

2.Tell the sentence patterns of the giving sentences.

3. Have a discussion and make sure they understand the sentence structures.

1. Help the students understand the six simple sentences better.

2.Encourage the students to write the simple sentences in English by themselves.

Step3 Grammar and vocabulary

Ask the students to complete the six sentences in Activity 1 and check the answer in groups.

Ask the students to look at the picture in Activity2 and discuss the questions.

Have the students understand the meanings of the words and expressions in the box, and complete the five sentences in Activity3.

Tell the students to read the short passage in Activity4 fast and understand the main meaning of it. Then, complete it on their own, using the correct form of the words and expressions in the box.Do the exercises as requested and check the answers in groups. Ask the teacher for help when necessary.

2. Try to help the students improve their skills in all aspects.

Step 4 listening

Ask the students to look at the diagram in Activity6 first and guess the recording's main idea.

Play the tape for the ss to listen and ask them to take notes while listening.
